## RELAY Initialized - Your Requiem

Have you ever dreamt of dying heroically?

You've given up your home, your family, and even others of your own kind. You're alone, afraid, and uncertain. What do you do now? How will you survive? Requiem is not about having a large faction with hundreds of soldiers. It is about having a small faction with a close knit group of brothers and sisters, working together to aid those who are less powerful than us. We are not here to put Zion, the Merovingion, or the Machines out on top. We're here to protect others.

Joining Requiem is not easy. By far most of those who are considered our brothers and sisters are not members at all, but allies and those we've come to protect. The Faction itself consists of two crews of 10, and that is it. We do not recruit more than this, and if those slots are full, then we're not accepting more. However, if you're looking for help, or guidance, we'll still be here for you. That is our purpose, our drive. I hope you understand that just because you do not jack in with us, doesn't mean we aren't here for you.

The actual requirements to become a member of Requiem do not exist. In fact, we do not actively recruit members. Instead, we seek you out. To be a member of Requiem is an honored position among us, and new brothers and sisters are chosen carefully.

The path of initiation is a long one, often fraught with peril, confusion, and inner reflection. If you are chosen as a potential, there will be no notification save for a single, mysterious transmission sent to you. You will recieve it only once and it will start you on your very own, personalized journey. If you pass all the trials laid before you, then perhaps you'll not only find us but find more of yourself as well.

Do not seek us out, fledglings. If you stay true to your heart, and selflessly defend the innocent, the oppressed, then we will find you. We are always around, and we are always watching. Find yourself and remember...
